How It Works

Buy your golf ball(s) today by visiting SLGOLFBALLS.com. Each entrant’s golf ball is numbered. Numbers are assigned in the order each entry is received. On September 21st 2024, the golf balls will be loaded into a helicopter . All golf balls will be dropped from the helicopte over a flagstick (pin) located on the grassy area adjacent to the south mailhouseand the ball that lands closest to the flsgstick will be declared the 1st Place Winner. First place is the golf ball that lands closest to the target and will be awarded $1,000.00 cash.

The purchase of golf balls for the Drop is non-refundable.  Need not be present to win! 

In the hole or nearest to the hole wins.

• Winner does not have to be a golfer or present – and may remain anonymous. Buyers first name and last initial and their randomly assigned numbers will be listed on our website prior to the ball drop.

Entry fee is $10 per chance per golf ball with a discount for purchasing additional golf balls. Each participant will be entered into the Ball Drop. Participants may enter as many times as they would like. Participants will be assigned numbered golf ball(s) based on their entry. The maximum number of balls to be sold is 2,000. An email will be sent confirming your purchase with your golf ball number(s) from our processor Charity Valet. Participants must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible to purchase chances and to win prizes.

Grand Prize Winner will be the ball that goes closest to the pin. Determination for the golf ball closest to the pin will be conducted by measuring the distance from the pin to the nearest golf ball. In case of a tie, the participant whose golf ball is the lowest numbered and therefore the earliest purchase will be deemed closer.

If the Ball Drop must be canceled for any reason, it will be delayed one week until following Saturday or until the weather is suitable,

Funds raised with the Ball Drop will go to the Seven Lakes Wall Of Honor.
